Recipe for delicious tacos:


Ingredients:


- 1 pound (450g) ground beef or chicken

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

- 1 small onion, diced

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon chili powder

- 1/2 teaspoon cumin

- 1/2 teaspoon paprika

- 1/4 teaspoon oregano

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 1/2 cup (120ml) tomato sauce

- 1/4 cup (60ml) water

- Taco shells or tortillas

- Toppings of your choice:

   - Shredded lettuce

   - Diced tomatoes

   - Grated cheese

   - Sliced avocado

   - Sour cream

   - Salsa

   - Cilantro

   - Lime wedges


Instructions:


1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion becomes translucent and the garlic is fragrant.


2. Add the ground beef or chicken to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked through.


3. Drain any excess fat from the skillet. 


4. Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well to coat the meat evenly with the spices.


5. Pour in the tomato sauce and water. Stir again to combine. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for about 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.


6. While the meat simmers, prepare your taco shells or tortillas according to the package instructions. You can either warm them up in the oven or on a stovetop.


7. Once the meat mixture is ready, assemble your tacos by filling each shell or tortilla with the desired amount of meat and topping it with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheese, sliced avocado, sour cream, salsa, cilantro, and squeeze of lime juice.


8. Serve the tacos immediately and enjoy.
