Cobb Salad recipe:


Ingredients:


- 4 cups mixed salad greens

- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced

- 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped

- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

- 1 avocado, diced

- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

- 1/4 cup sliced green onions

- Salt and pepper, to taste


For the dressing:


- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

- 1 garlic clove, minced

Instructions:


1. In a large salad bowl, arrange the mixed salad greens as the base.

2. In separate rows on top of the greens, arrange the diced chicken, crumbled bacon, chopped eggs, cherry tomatoes, diced avocado, crumbled blue cheese, and sliced green onions.

3. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

4. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.

5. Drizzle the dressing over the salad or serve it on the side.

6. Toss the salad just before serving to coat everything with the dressing.
