smoothie honey basil



A refreshing honey basil smoothie:


Ingredients:


- 1 cup fresh basil leaves

- 1 cup spinach leaves

- 1 ripe banana

- 1 tablespoon honey (adjust to taste)

- 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

- Juice of 1/2 lemon

- Ice cubes (optional)


Instructions:


1. Wash the basil and spinach leaves thoroughly.

2. Peel the banana and break it into chunks.

3. In a blender, combine the basil leaves, spinach leaves, banana chunks, honey, almond milk, Greek yogurt, and lemon juice.

4. If desired, add a few ice cubes to make the smoothie colder.

5. Blend everything on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the consistency is too thick, you can add more almond milk or water to thin it out.

6. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if desired.

7. Once blended to your desired consistency, pour the smoothie into glasses.

8. Garnish with a few basil leaves or a slice of lemon, if desired.

9. Serve immediately and enjoy.
