Dalgona coffee became quite popular recently, and it's a whipped coffee drink that originated in South Korea. However, you're looking for a variation with peanut butter. Here's a recipe for Dalgona with peanut butter:
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 1 cup milk (any type you prefer)
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
1- In a mixing bowl, combine the instant coffee, sugar, and hot water.
2- Using an electric mixer or a whisk, beat the mixture vigorously until it becomes thick, creamy, and frothy. This usually takes a few minutes. The mixture should form stiff peaks when lifted with a spoon.
3- In a separate glass, add the peanut butter.
4- Pour the milk into the glass with peanut butter and stir until the peanut butter is well incorporated into the milk.
5- If desired, add ice cubes to the glass to make it cold.
6- Now, gently scoop the whipped coffee mixture (the Dalgona) onto the top of the peanut butter milk mixture in the glass.
7- You can either serve it as it is or stir the whipped coffee into the milk to combine the flavors.
8- If desired, you can sprinkle some cocoa powder, and crushed peanuts, or drizzle some additional peanut butter on top for garnish.
9- Enjoy your Dalgona with peanut butter!
Note: The recipe can be adjusted according to your taste preferences. You can add more or less sugar, coffee, or peanut butter to suit your liking.
